What a tremendous honor to greet Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary Ben Carson, and Dr. Deborah Birx in Dallas and welcome them to the great State of Texas this morning.
I am grateful for their recognition of the growing coronavirus crisis in Texas and VP Pence’s strong message that citizens must wear a face mask to contain the spread — it is not the reopening of businesses, but rather it is the behavior of people not wearing masks and social distancing, that has led to the surge in cases.
