The nefarious campaign to defund the police is gaining momentum and Texas needs to stop it before it goes any further. The cost in lives ended or ruined, property destroyed and communities shattered is far too high to pay for a misinformed social experiment that took shape in the fever dreams of the radical left.
I stand with Governor Greg Abbott in supporting law enforcement and share his willingness to build a necessary firewall between the men and women of law enforcement and the radical leaders who would cut their essential funding.
