Starting with commending Gov. Abbott for his work in support of Republican candidates to the soul-searching Democrats must do in the aftermath of their expensive implosion at the ballot box, it was a great year for the GOP in Texas.
Bonnen also shared his personal experience with presumptive House Speaker Dade Phelan, describing him as a principled, pro-life, conservative Republican enjoying the support of a super majority of the House Republican Caucus.
Bonnen also set the record straight on RPT Chairman Allen West and blew up the right wing talking point about the ideological purity of including Democrats in the leadership of a Republican-led House.
